   I need a do-over today.

   My phone will literally not charge anymore so I had to emergency-buy a new one from the local Target. I need to bus to the store later to pick it up.

   I locked my coat, wallet, and sunglasses -- with the keys to the lock -- in my locker at the gym this morning so I had to walk home in 30 degree weather in a tank top and shorts. It was f'n cold.

   Lets hope the phone, currently at 3% and plugged in, stays powered up enough for me to transfer stuff off of it.

   I’ve been in bed for the last two weeks as I’ve been too ill to do anything else. But I’m on my feet today.

   My new year starts today, then. Happy new year!

   This year I resolve to look after myself, and encourage others to do the same. This was the case before I got ill, but now I feel it’s more important than ever.

   Be kinder to yourself, and be kinder to others.

   Very cold and quite windy today. The wind caught my beard and I love the sensation when it pulls on my face.

   I remember the first time I ever felt that, standing on the swaying deck of a ship leaving Plymouth on a grey day just like today.

   My first beard was dark with a white flash down my chin. Now my old man's beard is all white and soft, but that pull in the wind feels the same as it always did. I feel alive.

   I purchased a new mouse yesterday afternoon from Best Buy. It arrived today.

   My old mouse was about five years old and suddenly started malfunctioning around the same time as my motherboard. I opened up a few days ago and saw that a battery exploded inside.

   I've not been able to highlight text correctly for nearly two months now. Sometimes clicking once would register twice. The new mouse is already making a HUGE difference.

   @futurebird I think the conclusion I've reached that a kilobyte would be 341 1/3 trilobites has disturbed me more than anything else today.

   My internal rounded number fairy is being tortured by my internal chaos demon.
