   A massive explosion tore through an illegal firecracker manufacturing unit in Manauri village, Kaushambi district, Uttar Pradesh, India today.

   Death toll has climbed to at least 11, with many others injured, as rescue teams search debris for anyone trapped. The unit was operating out of a house; the blast damaged 4-5 nearby homes and shattered windows across the area.

   Rescue operations ongoing.
