Two rice stems weighed down with close packed ears cross each other at 45 degrees. A leaf from the same plant bisects the space between the two stems forming a rough ‘A’ shape. A macro extension on the lens allows us to get vey close the ears. Parts are sharp and clear whilst other areas glow with smudged focus. The background is a soft, smooth indistinct green, the ears of rice and yellowy greenish wash of beige.
