Two earpieces, separated from their cable, sit just in front of the black braided cable in the background. They are silver/chrome devices with various ridges and knobby protrusions with a prominent, visible seam bisecting each earpiece. A protrusion sticks up from the top of each earpiece where the cable is supposed to connect to them. The center of those protrusions are cable ports that are colored blue for the left channel and red for the right channel.
