   i’ve just _really_ enjoyed the art and history of app icon design brought on by ios/macos over the last ~15 years

   And it feels like a lot of that is being lost.

   i don't know or understand all the considerations apple faces.

   I get the easy job of sitting back and pointing at stuff that I think is/was really rich.

   Or, conversely, pointing out “that doesn’t feel like it fits in the rich tradition and function of past icons”
