   Ran into family friends from childhood while out last night, and all they could talk about is that my dad had a heart attack a few months ago.

   My family is downplaying it so much, and it was the first time I got to talk to someone who took it seriously (except my wife), and it was nice.

   This is an updated #introduction as my last introduction was 440 days ago.

   My name is Ville and I work as an IT technician in Sweden. I've always loved #tech, especially #Apple.

   I also like to read #books. (My favorite books are YA #LGBTQ).

   I love to create new websites, apps but most of all host servers. In 2022 I started my #Mastodon server, and last year I started my Apple Bingo website.

   It's been a bit of a rough week. I've been a little melancholy.

   First I learn that one of the hosts of Married to the Games, a podcast I've been listening to for a decade passed away a week ago.

   A friend of mine's mother pass away a day ago.

   My spouse's car needs a new engine. So he's going to cut his losses and buy a new car. It's an unexpected expense, especially with these interest rates.

   I bought a couple packs of those Duracell "Child-Secure" batteries.

   Upon opening, they *smelled* bitter, so of course I licked one to see how bitter it actually was.

   That was an hour ago.

   My mouth still tastes bad.

   I learned with experience that physical management of difficult emotions seemed to help me the most. Breathing exercises, meditation, walking, stuff like that.

   I don't think I've ever focused much on trying to feel my negative feelings, apart from in a brief Dom/sub relationship I was in a couple of years ago.

   My Sir asked me to journal about different emotions, which I did as best I could, and I think it was helping.
