Copy/paste, but a clear, malicious case of medical abuse, IMO! Idaho's been guilty of this shit a few times actually.
A Payette County grand jury has indicted 23-year-old Andrea Shaw on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her 18-month-old twins, Dallas and Tyson, more than a year after they were found dead in their shared bed.
The twins died on May 1, 2025 — eight days after receiving DTaP, flu, and hepatitis A vaccinations at a routine wellness visit. According to Shaw, she and her mother-in-law told the twins’ pediatrician about a family history of adverse reactions to the flu shot, but the concern was dismissed.
Shaw says the toddlers grew lethargic within hours and worsened over the following days; a St. Luke’s pediatrician who examined them diagnosed a post-vaccine reaction at the time, according to Shaw’s attorney.
Symptoms reportedly continued on and off through the week. Shaw says she found the twins unresponsive in bed on the morning of May 1.
Police treated the deaths as a homicide from the outset, and Shaw was arrested by Boise police the day after the June 29 indictment. She’s being held pending extradition to Payette County.
Shaw’s attorney, Joseph Filicetti, maintains this is “medical, not criminal,” pointing out that prosecutors haven’t publicly presented evidence of a specific cause like suffocation, and that Shaw repeatedly sought medical care for the children rather than avoiding it.
Shaw is also a plaintiff in a separate civil lawsuit — alongside other parents, physicians, and Children’s Health Defense — accusing the American Academy of Pediatrics of misleading families about vaccine safety.
