    A friend has asked me to fix her e-bike seat, and I have absolutely no idea how to start. The post just slides up and down freely. Why does it have two plastic cylinders between it and the bike frame? What is the accordion gasket thing that looks like it's had part torn off? Can I just ignore all that and crank down on the clamp at the top of the frame like I would on a regular bike?
