Sweet bird is an acrylic painting in contemporary square format painted by artist Karen Kaspar. A cute little bird is sitting on a branch and is looking to the right side. The bird seems to be smiling. The inspiration for this bird portrait was a female house sparrow sitting in a bush in our garden. But I was in the mood for some soft candy pastel colors. So it became a fantasy bird in colorful shades of teal, yellow and pink. The abstract background echoes these colors.
