Dear East End Food Co-op customers, Due to funding constraints at the federal, and state level, The Food Trust has asked us to pause Food Bucks earning starting May 15, 2026, until further notice. We will continue to honor any Food Bucks earned prior to May 15, 2026 through August 12, 2026. We hope to resume the program as soon as possible. We recognize the negative impact this disruption will have on many in our community. However, I'm pleased to announce we have received the necessary SNAP incentive waiver from the US Dept. of Agriculture which allows us to take action. In June we will be launching our own needs-based membership program, titled FLOWER. The goal of the program is to provide broader access to every item we sell, and reduce the financial barrier to becoming a member-owner of East End Food Co-op. More details to be announced soon.
