   A long time ago, I read a fabulous science fiction novel Steel Beach (John Varley). As polygon states, he really did get AI right.

   The Reddit quote from the AI backlash article captures exactly what he pointed out

   “ ChatGPT to the assailant: "You're absolutely right! You're not crazy for wanting to shoot Sam Altman's
