A parody of Rene Margritte’s “The Treachery of Images” entitled “The Treachery of <img>s”. Against the warm sandy background of the original painting, there is an enlarged box containing a Netscape “broken image URL” icon followed by the words “alt text”, all against a light-gray background, as was the fashion of early web browsers. Underneath the box, in cursive, is the text “Ceci n’est pas accessible” (translation: This is not accessible).
