Short version: a seagull looking at Oslo Fjord. Fuller description: Standing on the parapet of Oslo Opera House looking down and across the fjord. The water is calm still cold winter blue, reflecting the cold winter blue sky with white clouds. A sculpture like an iceberg sits in the middle of the empty water. The Oslo-Danmark ferry is berthed on the opposite quay. I am looking at all of this from just behind a fat unmoving beak-closed seagull, who is sitting on the parapet edge just in front of me gazing at the same scene with a fixed cross expression (seagulls always have cross expressions) as if trying to count to 100 after an encounter with somebody stupid.
