Adding on to the parenting question: how great did it feel the first time a kiddo called you mom? My heart still flutters when mine do it.

   never anticipated parenting talk today (but that’s part of why I love doing these things)

   it was such a singular, amazing thing

   different than my wife calling me her wife, or just being gendered or named correctly

   knowing your *kid* SEES you and accepts you is one of the most beautiful things
