„A bar chart showing the extremely close EU Parliament vote on AI Chat Control (Amendment 34) regarding the end of automated scanning of private messages. The final result: 307 voted For (ending the scan), 306 voted Against (keeping the scan), and 24 abstained. The amendment was accepted. The breakdown by political group shows: Greens, The Left, Renew, and a majority of S&D voted to end the scanning. The Conservatives (EPP), ECR, and PfE voted mostly against it.“
