   @helene @georgia Do you like the Fediverse? GNU Social was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Mastodon came out in 2016, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole community has a clear, crisp vibe, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the posts a big boost. It’s been compared to Twitter, but I think Fedi has a far much more fun, lighthearted sense of humor. In 2019, Lain released this, Pleroma (1.0.0), their most accomplished server. I think their undisputed masterpiece is #cofe, a meme so catchy, most people probably don’t read the full post. But they should, because it’s not just about the pleasures of caffeine, and the importance of fun, it’s also a personal statement about the developers themselves!
