the Playdate showing the game Bloom. it's in chill mode where you can listen to the music from the game on an image reminiscent of chill lo-fi study videos the system is a pocket-sized, yellow handheld with a black and white, reflective screen and a flip-out crank controller. it has a d-pad on the left side and two face buttons on the right

might as well slip this into the world:

i'm a horror/sci-fi writer and a sound designer. i think one of my audio drama scripts that never got produced could adapt really well into a short kinetic visual novel.

would like to partner with a coder and an artist. was in talks with a couple others, but it fell through. i can do all writing and sfx, and i have a composer to do music.

i'd love for it to be in a 1-bit, black and white style. i was very inspired looking at the game Wold of Horror. because of this, i think it'd work especially well for the Playdate. it's this console pictured that has a crank on the side — which i think serves itself well to a horror story.

let me know if you have thoughts! i'd def share the script with you and be open to creative input. i'm all about collaboration and would love for us all to be a team!
