I think cis men like Joe Rogan and Ray Blanchard do what so many cis people do: trans people are mirrors they see their own fears, insecurities, and flaws in.
A LOT of cis men don't know how to relate to women as full human beings. They relate to women as something they have sex with or as personal domestic servants who take care of them.
They can't imagine wanting to be a woman because they don't even know how to relate to women outside of being serviced in some way.
