   Given that the Iranian regime insists Iran is going to destroy the Great Satan and that the US regime insists we're going to have a total victory over the Axis of Evil, suggesting anyone will win invites the "you're shilling for $regime" dodge. That doesn't change practicalities.
   
   And that aside, you've known me how many years, and when have I ever given a damn how I *sound* compared to whether I'm right or not?

   You say that like I just now dug it up instead of having posted it seven years ago and having kept it around because I have had an interest in geopolitics (and the Iranian "stealth fighter" is fucking hilarious and I intend to post it basically every time until they do something funnier).
   
   Incidentally, what I said back in 2019 was "I don't expect Iran's regime to fare any better than Baathists did in the event of a war, unless Russia wants in" and I haven't had to revise that yet. Iran has basically no offensive hacking team, either, as noted; I didn't say this about North Korea, because it's not true of North Korea.
   
   I get that you hate Israel and are hoping someone turns their strip of the Levant into glass and I don't have any special love for the country but military strategy and geopolitics are not affected by that. Same shit I've been saying since the cables leaked.
