   "SCOTUS blocks Trump's tariffs.

   A bit fractured on rationales, but basic bottom line is a 6-3 majority w/ Justices Thomas Alito & Kavanaugh dissenting.

   Three of six justices in the majority (the Chief, Gorsuch, & Barrett) rely on the major questions doctrine; the other three (Sotomayor, Kagan, & Jackson) don't. So there's daylight as to why IEEPA doesn't authorize tariffs, but not *that* it doesn't.
