November 28: The Atlantic publishes expose of Substack, citing their “nazi problem.” December 21: Substack co-founder Hamish McKenzie says nazis are welcome because he’s too fucking stupid to equate nazism with violence. Quote: “We don’t think that censorship (including through demonetizing publications) makes the problem go away. Our content guidelines do have narrowly defined proscriptions, including a clause that prohibits incitements to violence.”
