A medium sized bird perched on a branch with green grass in the background. The upper body is brown, the underpants and chest are light gray and the chest has brown spots. There is a clear eye-ring which is diagnostic. This is a Swainson's Thrush, a common visitor during migration, one of the genus Catharus that look so similar.
