The wrong side, which is a horrible mess. Very much the furious paddling to the graceful glide of the swan on the other side. The little excess bits of the soutache braid, already unravelling, have been affixed to points where the stitches are anchored to the soutache on the other side, hopefully keeping them under control.

It's a little bit wobbly because this is literally the first time I've ever sewn on soutache and I'm deeply thankful for my demi-ambidextrous brain because that helped. Oh heck!
