I’d debated whether or not I would publish this one, since it’s not terribly impressive - but once I found the old dead jump-starter’s battery clamps and sussed out how to implement them, I knew I was gonna.
As mentioned earlier, this gizmo serves in any application wherein I’d otherwise be obliged to use a car battery, up to 360 watts. Primary use-cases involve running small automotive type DC/AC inverters. Quite nice for power outages, and/or running CB radios. It’s much less massive and bulky than a comparable 12v lead acid battery, and exhibits discharge characteristics far superior. Once it’s run low, I can just swap the battery out with a fresh one.
