   I’m not really surprised at my deep love for villages, wherever they are and however they may be

   I think it goes back to my Palestinian roots & my early ancestors who lived in the village of Yibna, in the city of Ramla, at the heart of Palestine.

   Before the #Nakba 1948, my grandparents lived there, but we were displaced into exile and to Gaza City. If this occupation had not happened, I would have remained in my village all my life..
