   Also, yeah, my TikTok feed is pretty based. I don't ever think I've seen a girl twerking.
   
   That being said, it says my email it's valid anymore if I try to sign-in or recover my password so I have to use my username instead. I still get emails from TikTok so I know their backend supports it but apparently now they only accept a whitelist of globohomo email provider domains.
   
   That being said, if you install ReVanced Manager:
   https://github.com/revanced/revanced-manager
   
   Then download the TikTok APK from APKMirror:
   https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/tiktok-pte-ltd/tik-tok-including-musical-ly/
   
   You can inject peaches into it and then install the custom APK you just created.
   
   You can do this like enable download for all videos even when the creator didn't enable it (I still prefer to use yt-dlp because it downloads the version without the watermark), remove ads, remove livestreams, enable playback speed adjustment for all videos, enable seeking for all videos, and even spoof the info the app receives from the SIM card.
   
   If you're extra worried about your privacy then install island

   and have TikTok in its own little sandbox where, as far as it can tell, it's the only app installed.
   
   It's still seamless to actually use the app tho.
