   It’s good to celebrate progress, Canada is slowly reducing traffic deaths, as written by @davidzipper https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-08-13/the-us-and-canada-are-going-in-different-directions-on-traffic-safety

   But it also notes that we have a long way to go, when we’re competing to be the lowest and achieve milestones like Helsinki’s zero deaths in a year.

   Thanks to movements like @VisionZeroYVR we are making progress.

   This is the sort of competition I can get behind.
