↓この下の記事を書いたライター、Twitter上のマストドンアカウント名「joinmastodon」を「John Mastodon 」と読み間違い、創始者の名前だと勘違いして記事に書いてしまった。

創始者の名前を確認しなかったのかな?
本物の創始者のEugen Rochkoさんが一言John MastodonってTootしちゃったので一気に名前が広がった。ハッシュタグを辿ると「謎の人物ジョンマストドンとは誰か」が一杯出てきて面白い?
