   A "MMMera, Inc." has owned the trademark for "Laura Bow" since 2023. That appears to be Marcus Mera, producer on the recent Colossal Cave.

   I think this developer noticed that the Laura Bow trademark was abandoned and registered it, but they've made the common mistake that registering an abandoned trademark also grants you the *copyright* in previous works released under that trademark.
