Inside Calvin's mind, two copies of Calvin's likeness, wearing helmets, are coming down a ladder into a basement. One says to the other, "Ugh, I hate going to the subconscious." The other replies, "Me too! Why doesn't anyone ever clean this dump? Here's a movie reel. I suppose it's as good as any." The first one says, "I grabbed these two. Let's get back to central cognition." They meet a third Calvin and one tells him, "We can run this reel first." The other says, "I hope these are better than last night's movies." The third is loading a projector and says, "Hurry up! The lights are dimming Help me thread the projector!" The movie starts running, "Yikes, this is awful! Where did you guys find this?! Another replies, "Oops. The next real isn't even from the same film." The last one says, "Good! Put it on!" The projectionist says, "This one is even worse! I guess it's some sort of suspense movie." Another says, "Why can't we watch anything good?" The third says, "Maybe you should get the movies next time! Aughh! Monsters! Monsters! Turn it off!" The first says, "Too scary!! Quick, try another reel!" The second says, "This one makes no sense! What's going on?? Has this been dubbed from some other language?" "None of these make sense We're splicing them all out of order." "What a wast of time!" "The lights are coming back on! Show's over!" "Finally! I thought this would never end," "Back to work! Man your stations! Full alert!" Calvin wakes, "Whoo, I had many strange dreams!"
