   ガザ地区の平均寿命は2023年から2024年の一年間で約75歳から約40歳まで下がったという統計を見た

   ドローイングのシリーズを見続けてくれている人から「ガザには老人はいないの？　子供や若い人の絵ばかりだけど？」と指摘されて、そういえば高齢者の絵はほとんど描いていなかったことに気づいた。気づいたというか、薄々自分でもそう思っていなかったわけではないけど、でも残酷な世界に苦しめられている子供たちにばかり半ば無意識にフォーカスをあてていた

   体力や足腰が衰え、持病などさまざまな不調を抱えながら避難し続けなければならない老後…
