View of my neighbourhood. There's a nice promenade next to a pond with a diving raft in the middle. On the other side of the pond there is a sandy beach and wheelchair access to the water, a nice grass lawn, and behind it all is a piece of the apartment complex where I live, all surrounded by the forest. On the left side there's a three story wooden climbing tower, which is part of the nearest playground for kids. Usually there are lots of families bathing, barbequing, and generally having a great time. But today it's cloudy, wet, and cold... Still looks kinda nice though! 🥰 Oh... and except for the apartments, everything in this picture is freely available for anyone to visit and enjoy! Why? Because that's just how we roll up here! Welcome to the 'hood! 🤗

Welcome to one of the worst places to live in Oslo!

Just met some lovely new neighbours and their lovely old dog, and they were like
"How the fnuk did this super nice place get such a bad rep?"
And I'm like
"Nah... all the bad seeds got older and left like 30-40 years ago. We just kept that old rumour alive to make sure we'd get to keep all this good stuff to ourselves!" 😎
