   Marine Lance Corporal Jose Gutierrez, one of the first US service members to be killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom, was at one time undocumented, arriving here alone when he was just 14. A legal resident at the time of his death, he was posthumously awarded US citizenship. #MemorialDay
