   In our world, violence can be so normalized, if necessary, that it's the bearer of the message that annoys us, for the insult of forcing us to have a glimpse down the ivory tower is so great, not even a human life could compare.

   This is what RTVE, the Spanish public broadcasting service, portrayed during the ESC finals:
