At HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, her doctor Arielle Lofton wrote in her chart, “No interventions can be performed at this time legally because her fetus has a heartbeat.”[...] "It was only after visits to three Houston hospitals over five days that Leonard was able to get a dilation and evacuation to empty her uterus."
