Email clip from my university reading: "Good afternoon, International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) has informed the dean’s office that a student in your ECON 4540-001 and ECON 4811-001 courses has had their VISA revoked and their Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) record has been terminated. This means that the Department of Homeland Security has ended their F-1 status. This can be due to anything from a driving infraction, parking ticket, charges that were dropped, or more serious offences."
