This is a clip of the women's fancy shawl dance. Each woman is wearing a shawl and as she dances she will spin with her arms extended so that the shawl and its fringe open up. They each have a headband with a feather rising in the back. The colors of the regalia are vibrant and the shawls are richly decorated. Each dancer has a shawl that expresses her personality and her regalia. You can see a hot pink shawl, blue ones, yellow and white ones for example. Each woman's moccasins are heavily beaded as well.

People are generally familiar, I think, with powwow dances: men northern and southern traditional, women northern and southern traditional, men grass dance, men fancy dance, women jingle, women shawl, women fancy shawl, women northern and southern traditional, women buckskin and men chicken dance. I caught a good clip of the women's fancy shawl and they were so beautiful. 4/5
