She managed to get away and make it to this hotel, where animal advocates lovingly nursed her back to health for three months. A special bond was formed between Panchita and her rescuers. After she was fully healed, Panchita was released back to her natural habitat in the wild but every day she returns to visit the humans who rescued her after being out at sea all day. - Julia Boyd Griffin
