A translucent blue cube transforms into a regular octahedron and back into a cube. At the start, some diagonals of the square faces are visible. As the transformation progresses, some of these stay the same but other change size and direction. Also, some of the cube’s vertices move so that at the octohedral stage, two adjacent triangular faces are divided into three obtuse triangles.
