The preprint paper (thanks @obot50549535 for posting the link) indicates that the new spectra data for K2-18b came from the JWST MIRI instrument.
The authors report "new evidence for DMS and/or DMDS in the atmosphere of K2-18b at 3-σ significance, with high abundance of at least one of the two molecules."
They indicate that more observations are needed to increase the robustness of the findings.
3-σ is low.
