Here is an outstanding image of the newly discovered comet SWAN25F and its tail, taken by comet hunter maestros Michael Jäger and Gerald Rhemann.
Time: 2025-04-06 UT 2.50
Equipment: LRGB 16/5/5/5 min 11"/2.2 RASA QHY600
The comet does not have an official designation yet.
Perihelion: around May 1.
Brightness: expected to peak around Mag 5.
Will very likely continue to require a telescope for good viewing.
