Stellaria media. The flower is photographed in macro mode, it is actually very small, around five millimetres. The flower is white and has ten pointed petals arranged in pairs, forming five pairs. In the middle of the flower you can see tiny stamens with reproductive function, their ends are yellowish in colour. The green parts of the plant with hairs are also visible, but the background is out of focus, only the white flower is in focus.

I walked around the forest a bit as a guide for a group of friends that zen sangha and two univerzity students. I talked about #floodforest we admired the forest full of flowers, practicing walking meditation. I had to point out this flower, not many people notice it, it is very small. Stellaria media.
