Subject: What a disappointing "town hall" I just returned home from your "town hall" in Malden. I am incredibly disappointed. First of all, it's not a "town hall" when 2/3 of the time is taken up by videos and speeches and there's no open mic and the questions are all screened in advance. Calling it a town hall was a cheat and a waste of people's time. Second, I am confident that the vast majority of people there today did not need to be convinced of how bad things are. We needed to be told WHAT you are going to DO about it. We heard very little about that, and nothing specific. And it was just insulting for you to stand up in front of 1,500 people and claim that you are going to do "everything you can" to stop Trump and Musk and are going to "block block block" in the Senate when you're not objecting to every single call for unanimous consent and you voted to confirm Rubio. I would have a lot of respect for you right now if you had admitted at the town hall that your vote on Rubio was a mistake. Instead, I am less hopeful now that you are going to do what needs to be done than I was when I walked into the auditorium. We need our elected officials to lead the resistance. Figure it out before it's too late. If you don't, then I hope to hell someone who understands the stakes and what needs to be done primaries you, at least, if we still live in a democratic republic when it comes time for your reelection.
