    I think it's very ergonomic that the app grid shows up when you close all the windows in a workspace.

    Advantages:
    1. Being able to choose the workspace where I want to go.
    2. Be able to visually choose the app I want to open in that empty workspace.
    3. Type to search.

    All in the same place.
