I must say, I have become a fan of USB-C. I've previously criticised it, because I believe the connector needs to be bigger, for mechanical strength - and to enable high power devices (USB-C is great for low-power, but many people abuse it for e.g. 20V at 200W or higher).
But my Libreboot T480 has *only* a USB-C wire plugged into it, to a hub. That hub has my T480 charger, two monitors, a USB DAC, charges my phone (old micro usb), a USB-C nvme adapter... it even has ethernet, which I don't use.
