His chest and belly have rusty streaks while the wing visible on the left is a darker brown with white spots. He is staring intently at the camera calculating if he could eat you.

This is Sprite, a northern saw whet owl who lived at Horizon Wings Raptor Rehabilitation and Education and was a right little feisty jerk. An eight inch terror, but a very Superb Owl.
