The SS stopped busses at 6 different school bus stops on the border of Leipzig and Rackwitz. They waited for parents to walk their kids to the bus stops, and then they started detaining the parents. The bus drivers were told to lock the door and not let the kids who made it onto the busses out. A school board member went to check on one of the schools to check on the Jewish principal. In that school, only eleven children made it to school that day.
