A close up of the very front. The soft but structured tall collar doesn't quite want to sit right on the hanger, since it's not a human neck, but you can see how the closely spaced white faux-pearl buttons sparkle nicely in the soft winter sunlight, the hand sewn buttonholes behaving mostly nicely. There are orderly vertical rows of machine pintucks on the yoke. The ruffle upon the collar is quite ruff-esque, as it wants to stand up on its own, even without any starching or persuasion. Oh, right. Took photos of the finished nightdress and then immediately forgot about them. There's quite a bit of width though you can't tell from the photos, it took multiple leisurely hours to hem. A mix of two or three leftover pieces of linen I had in my stash from who knows when, a mix of machine and hand sewing.
To get sacrificed to some dark goddess, to haunt a mansion, or to just sleep in!
