I am calling on Dr. Panchanathan to resign as Director. His swift compliance with the blatantly unconstitutional, rapidly rescinded OMB memo was a disqualifying mistake that should undermine the entire scientific community's confidence in him. We deserve a Director who will defend science, not defund it.
