I had no idea that data centre capacity is nowadays described in megwatts. And not exaflops or some such. In a serious newspaper like the FT even.
Reminds me of an old story I heard in the early 80s: A Soviet trade delegation visited the Technical Research Centre of Finland and desperately tried to sell them some Soviet computer. When, feigning interest, someone asked how powerful the machine they suggested was, the reply was in kilowatts.
